Submission of final version
The submissions and reviews for RSCTC are managed by means of on-line system.
Instructions for submission of final version:
If your paper has been accepted for publication in the RSCTC proceedings there are three (3) conditions you need to meet in order to ensure that the paper will be published. All three conditions are mandatory.
Condition 1 - Prepare and upload revised version of paper
Each paper should have no more than ten (10) pages in the Springer-Verlag LNCS style, including figures, tables and references. Springer-Verlag author instructions are available at: http://www.springer.com/lncs. You can also download formatting macros here (for LaTeX or for MS-Word). We strongly encourage authors to use LaTeX. The use of MS-Word or other WYSIWYG editor is permissible, but LNCS macros have to be used, and the resulting document must be saved in RTF format, as prescribed by LNCS formatting rules.
The conference organisers have neither time nor resources to provide editorial assistance to authors. Therefore, the papers that are formatted with clear violation of LNCS formatting standards will be removed from proceedings. The papers that exceed the 10 page limit will be accepted if they are no longer than 12 pages. The fee of 300 PLN will be charged for each extra page. The actual number of pages for any given final submission will be determined by conference organisers in co-operation with LNCS editorial office at Springer. Therefore, please do not attempt to bend editorial macros in order to reduce number of pages, we will detect it. The papers longer than 12 pages will be automatically removed.
The final version of your paper should be uploaded to the submission system by April 4. Please collect all source files that may be necessary to process your article, in particular:
- Source document (.tex or .rtf);
- All figures that are included in document (if LaTeX is used). It is highly recommended to use only black-and-white and/or greyscale figures. The proceedings will be printed using greyscale only.
- Any further style files and fonts you have used together with your source files and that are not generally available at CTAN.
- Bibliography file(s);
- Final PDF file for reference;
- Final DVI file (for papers prepared using LaTeX).
All the files listed above, together with Copyright Form (see the Condition 2 below) have to be compressed as single file (e.g. .zip, .tgz, .tar.gz) and then uploaded to the submission system.
Submissions to Special Sessions shall follow the same rules as for regular submissions.
Condition 2 - Fill in, sign and deliver the Springer Copyright Form
Every article published in LNCS/LNAI series must be accompanied with duly filled and signed Copyright Form. We have prepared a pre-populated PDF form for you. This form has to be filled and signed by one of the authors. Filled (and signed) form should be delivered to the RSCTC organisers. The preferred way of delivering this form is by attaching an electronic copy (scan) of the signed document to the final submission bundle (see Condition 1 above). Alternatively, the form may be sent by e-mail to submissions@rsctc2010.org or by fax to +48 22 5544300. Please, be aware that the fax is the least reliable option, so use it with caution and always send the fax with a cover page mentioning Dr Marcin Szczuka as recipient.
Condition 3 - Register for the conference
Each accepted paper must be accompanied with a completed conference registration. The registration to RSCTC is performed by means of on-line system. Single registration to RSCTC covers publication of one paper in the proceedings. It is possible to include second paper in a single registration at the additional price of 600 PLN. Please, remember to enter the three-digit paper id number in the conference registration form.
Student registration may cover the publication of a paper in the proceedings, but only in case when the student is the principal (first listed) author of the paper.
